A favorite green of mine is brussels sprouts.
I so did not like them when I was a kid and here I am pretty much craving them on a regular basis. So I figured; let’s try something new. So I cut and peeled them so I could try sautéing the leaves instead of roasting them whole.
- Brussels Sprouts – estimate about 3-4 whole per person
- Dried orange peel
Cut the bottom off to peel the leaves of the Brussels sprouts. You have to keep cutting a little bit off to be able to keep peeling.
Add a dash of sea salt and dried orange peel
Sautée for 3 min. in just a little oil while still wet from washing
Serve with pine nuts
