An easy and soothing treat with wholesome sweetness.
Black rice has a much more intense flavor than brown rice. It feels decadent to eat it even as a dinner meal, so as a dessert it gives you so much more than just rice-pudding.
INGREDIENTS
- Black Rice
- Cinnamon
- 100% maple syrup
- Unsweetened coconut milk
- Pine-nuts
METHOD
Cook black rice or use already pre-cooked black rice. If you serve it cold. Use hot coconut milk. If you use warm rice you might want to use cold coconut milk.
Take a 1/2 cup of rice and make it into a ball… put it in a small dish to serve it.
Add cinnamon and maple syrup to your liking.
Pour the coconut milk over it
Add some pine-nuts for garnish…or any other nut will do 🙂
