IS YOUR MIND WORKING FOR YOU?

OR ARE YOU TRYING TO KEEP UP?

If you google how many thoughts we have per day, you will find some saying we have 60-70,000 thoughts per day (which is pretty close to impossible) and newer studies (which are more accurate since they are studies) saying around 6,000, which is still a lot to keep track of.

So what are you doing with your thoughts?
Are you getting stuck in the spiral of stressful thinking?
Are you stuck on the problem, thinking about all the reasons it’s not going to work?
Are you thinking about how exhausted you are because you’re trying your best, and nothing seems to work out?
If only… thoughts?

The good news is that if you even realize that you have these thoughts (we all do), then you are being mindful at that moment. You are aware that you are stuck in a thought pattern that’s not helping you.

AWARENESS MATTERS

Catching our thoughts is progress!
The more aware we are, the more we can change.
The more willing we are, the more adaptable we become.
The more adaptable we are, the more agile we become.

So the faster you catch your thoughts on their way down the rabbit hole, the faster you can get your mind back to working better for you. That’s mindfulness. What you do with your thoughts is self-care…
