It is healthy treat time
We all want to treat ourselves with something tasty and delicious on a regular basis. Of course treats like these are extra treats and not to replace you treating yourself in amazing ways and healthy self-nourishing everyday. When you want a indulgent snack treat, make it a real treat by making it healthy for you too; otherwise it really is a mis-treat instead.
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup pecans – chopped
- 1/8 cup flax seeds
- 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
- 3 figs chopped
- 1/4 cup of tocos (powdered ricebran)
- 1/4 cup chia gel (chia seeds soaked in water for 30min) 2 tablespoon chia with 1/2 cup water
- pinch of sea-salt
- 1 tablespoon raw honey
Makes about 8
Mix everything in a bleeder, portion it with a spoon and press into balls and let them in the fridge to harden.
You can make different toppings by rolling them in something like coconut, coconut flour, or matcha green tea powder, chopped nuts or you can serve them au natural. These here are shown as: au natural, with coconut flour, and with green tea matcha.
